Tell me about it…
Relationships, work, finances, parenting, family, friends, health…the list goes on. Even good days are a lot to manage and bad days can feel like it's all just too much. You’ve got grit, resilience and a “just keep swimming” attitude…but you may also have crippling anxiety, stress, and patience hanging by a thread.
I see you and you don’t have to face it alone…
For 25 years, helping clients weather the inevitable storms of life has been my purpose and my passion as a therapist. As a woman, wife and mom, I’m intimately aware of the stressors that impact women’s mental health through my own experiences, both professionally and personally.
Womanhood encompasses many seasons…
Young adulthood is a whirlwind of excitement and uncertainty—totally normal to have doubts about your choices and future. Motherhood is a wild ride—a hormone rollercoaster full of joy but also stress, especially in those early months. Marriage and relationships are key to human connection—but infidelity or divorce can break that connection leading to pain and heartbreak. The female experience unfolds through different stages, each bringing its own mix of ups and downs, joys and anxieties.
I get it and I’m right here with you…
Despite what we’re often told on socials these days, mental health isn’t something to coddle and protect. It’s a part of you and just as vital as your physical health. Just like your body, your mind will not strengthen or grow in capacity if neglected, mistreated or sheltered from hard things.
Therapy is the ultimate self-care…
With my support and guidance, you will learn, grow and be challenged to live in the fullness of who you were created to be. Not gonna lie, good therapy doesn’t always feel good. However, it’s such a gift when you show up and invest in yourself.
This isn’t old-school therapy and I’m not a “blank slate” therapist…
What does that look like with me? Our sessions are a small-scale model of real life. So, I may laugh, cry and express the full range of emotions like a real, feeling human and self-disclose (with consent) when I feel it could be beneficial. You’re welcome to kick off your shoes and bring a snack, drink, notepad or whatever you need to get the most out of your time. Therapy can be uncomfortable so I want you as comfortable as possible!
My goal in session is for you to feel safe, at ease and able to explore your life in a non-judgmental and confidential space. So, tell me all about it. I’m here for the tea, the texts, the dog/kid/partner pics…the good, bad and ugly of it all. That’s real life. That’s what you’re here for.
I’m here for you.
